Beats by Luchadores Maqui
Raps by Chives Growen

Clive Flowen -- praise the name forever
He and Mackey worked the gang together in chains and fetters
In rainy weather we broke stone to splinters
And rolled the payload to pave roads in the cold of winter
Bowls smoke to cinders, blunts burn to embers
First, who sent ya; now state your password and enter
I render enemy emcees lifeless
With a mic gripped in the center of a tight fist
The life-taker, rock the feather-light fader
Scribe recordin' data with a pen upon the rice paper
Bright vapors from space encased in my rhyme
Planeswalking brought the pain of displacement in time
But now I return, with a word, flowers are birthed
By swirling clouds as thousands of them shower the earth
My power absurd -- with a precise, tight rhythm
The words splitting light like prisms -- anointed with the
White chrism, hematite and gypsum
Channeling ascended masters for their priceless wisdom
Because I'm just trying to make the right decisions
And I just want to get the most out of this life I'm living

Because so many wasted days, I languished in a cloak of ashes
Looking for angels in the angles of the overpasses
So many squalid nights, caught within the city's grasp
Seeking solace at the bottom of a whisky glass

So many vacant days, I languished in a cloak of ashes
Looking for angels in the angles of the overpasses
Hidden in a waste of pipe-smoke and poultices
I stay spitting in the face of life's total hopelessness
